If you could re-experience the first time you heard a song, which song would it be?
I was in the orchestra in middle school. We weren't very good, about as good as you'd expect for your average public middle school, but it was still a big part of my life. You see, this story covers a few big milestones in my life. My first and only crush on a girl who was older than me, the sudden understanding that under the right leadership people can do anything, and the realization that harmony isn't something that just exists, it must be created... and this is the story about the moment, for me, all those things came together.
There I was, petrified, stunned by the med, this is the day I knew I would always have an appreciation for the music of a well constructed orchestra.
